CIM Forum in Kotor May 2022

This is the first event of this type to be organised not only in Kotor, but also in Montenegro. The CIM Forum is a platform presenting a path to creativity in all aspects, fields and spheres of life, as well as the creation of open dialogue and support for media development.

The event will cover several program segments. These programs are bringing together the region, at the same time dealing with essential global/local topics such as sustainability, marketing, digital media, technology, advertising, event management, innovation, sports and gaming, content creation, as well as art, music, film, fashion and photography, and many more.

Spending three days in Kotor – town rich in history and cultural heritage – will be an opportunity to meet the most creative minds from various industries well known in the region and beyond. Their interests, but also what they do professionally in life, as well as their achievements, make them interesting interiocutors, especially when it comes to topics presented at the CIM Forum. We believe that they will pass on the best knowledge and practices from the world of media and communications.

During the CIM, in form of an open-air stage Kotor will become a place where the importance of creativity and media in the modern world today is discussed.

Recognising the importance of holding events of this scale, the Tourist Organisation of Kotor gladly responded to invitation to participate in organising the event. We hope that this one will be the first in a series of similar events to be held in our city. We also believe Forum as a point of networking of experts, ideas and innovations, business and entertainment, will contribute to positioning Kotor as a destination attractive for the development of MICE tourism.

In addition to panel discussion and similar program segments, several workshops will be held during the forum, which visitors can sign up for while obtaining credentials. There are three planned workshops in question. First, Kotor pasta – visitors and panelists will have the opportunity to learn how to make this Kotor delicacy with the best krempita masters. Second, Dobrota lace, a unique type of lace originated in Dobrota and as such has recently been declared a protected intangible cultural heritage of Montenegro. Workshop participants will get the opportunity to learn about tits production. Third is the Špiljari walking tour – a real opportunity to get to know Kotor from a different perspective.

Everyone is welcome to exchange experiences, ideas and knowledge, especially people from the creative and media industries. We invite you to come, fall in love with Kotor and come back to it again. Because one who comes to Kotor once, one belongs to this town forever.

The organisers of the event are BHM Agency and NGO ART365, while the sponsors are the Municipality of Kotor, Cultural Center Nikola Đurković and the Tourism Organisation of Kotor.
