The main show is Diocletian’s legionaries display, performed by Udruženje iz Splita, mostly consisted of 16 to 18 performers, dressed in authentic centurion, flag-bearer and legionary costumes.

Roman heavy infantry was divided into units called legions, consisted of soldiers (legionaries). Every legion was representing a Roman province that used to protect the city from enemies. Legions were divided in centurias commanded by a centurion. Flag-bearer carried the flag of the legion. All mentioned roles are symbolically represented during the Roman Night.
