NAUTICA CBC News
The NAUTICA CBC project (HR-BA-ME364) is bringing novelties to Kotor’s tourist offer: interactive boards, benches with solar panels, smart interactive bus stops, electric bicycles and their holders, as well as lockers. The intention of the project is to contribute to the development of tourism, respecting the principles of sustainability and energy efficiency through the use of renewable energy sources.
TO Kotor has prepared locations designated for the installation of the mentioned equipment. Smart benches have been installed at five locations, namely in Luža, in the City Park and at the bus stop near the Theater, then locations for electric bicycles (15 in total) in Dobrota, in front of the Old Town and in Prčanj.
In the underpass located near the Dojmi restaurant by the Old Town, and inside the Maritime Museum, interactive totems have been placed, while in the underpass there are lockers for storing things for tourists who aim to visit the Old Town.
A smart bus stop is installed across the street from the Farmers’ market in the Old Town.
All mentioned equipment will be available for use from August 26 when the official opening will take place. Instructions for the use of the equipment will be published in the following days.
